This successful project manager will plan, organize, monitor, and control medium to large-sized capital equipment projects within a cross-functional organization.
Monitoring and maintaining budgets, reviewing, and acting to maintain schedules, and interfacing with customers to ensure complete satisfaction are important skills required for the position.
A demonstrated ability in leading project teams consisting of degreed engineers, production personnel and field service staff is critical.
Fundamental duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Review company proposals and customer specifications- Coordinate efforts to produce engineering drawings with subsequent submittal to customer and sub-suppliers- Organize project reviews and engineering kick off meetings- Assist in the creation and specifications of major buyout equipment- Evaluate sub-supplier proposals for completeness and compliance with specifications - Review and approves fabrication drawings and purchase requisitions- Generate regular reports on projects being managed- Support sales and other departments where necessary- Coordinate and participate in customer project review and equipment inspection visits- Be the main customer contact from the sale through commissioningBase salary, with straight overtime and per diem is available also when traveling, a potential bonus 3-15% year, plus full benefits and a 401k.
There is mile reimbursement or a rental car for certain jobs.
There is less than 10% travel.
