Seeking Accountant with strong experience in a plant environment.
Shall:
Monitor and investigate WIP variances and finished goods output for comparison to pre-established efficiency targets
Oversee transition from averaging cost set-up to standard cost set-up.
Analyze production and inventory controls, material and labor costs
Review raw material and finished goods inventory, reconcile records, and determine cause of errors or discrepancies. Institute preventative and corrective actions
Ideal candidate will have 3-5 years cost accounting experience, in a manufacturing environment, and knowledge of large integrated ERP systems.
This opportunity is an interesting, diversified combination of on-going day-to-day functions and project work. Base salary to $70,000 plus full array of benefits and employee assistance plan.
